Who is eligible to participate in the Gen Mobile ZTE phone service offer?

Any US resident who is at least 18 years of age who purchased an eligible ZTE Quest 5 phone from Circuit City during the purchase period of 8/1/20 - 3/31/21. No other ZTE products are eligible for this offer. Autopay must be set-up at the time free month of service is redeemed. For additional details, see Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the page.

I bought a different ZTE product. Am I eligible for this offer? 

No, only the purchase of an eligible ZTE Quest 5 phone from Circuit City qualifies for Gen Mobile's free ZTE phone service offer.

What will I receive with my eligible purchase in this offer?

Upon validating your eligible ZTE Quest 5 phone's IMEI, you will receive a complimentary month of Gen Mobile's $15 plan. To locate your phone's IMEI, dial *#06# on the phone dialpad or click on Settings > About Device > Status > IMEI. Supplies are limited. Terms and Conditions apply.

If you would like to upgrade to a plan higher than Gen Mobile's $15 plan, a $15 plan credit will be applied to the higher plan and you pay the difference.

Can I keep my phone number to Gen Mobile?

Yes, you can bring your phone number to Gen Mobile. Make sure to tell the Gen Mobile customer care rep when you redeem your free month of service. The Gen Mobile customer care rep will submit a phone number transfer request to your current carrier. Be sure to have your account number, account address and PIN code from your current carrier available. You may need to contact your current carrier for this information.

Once we submit the number transfer request, it may take up to 48 hours for your current carrier to release your phone number. Do not cancel your account with your current carrier during this time. Your account must remain active for the transfer to be successful.

Can I get a new phone number with Gen Mobile?

Yes, you can request a new number when you call or chat to redeem your free month of service. A new number will auto generate based on your requested zip code and availability in your particular area code. You can also call our Customer Care team to request a new number at any time.

What if I need more data?

You can buy 500MB of 4G LTE data for $5 at any time. You can also change to a plan that has more data at any time. Just call Customer Care or use our free Gen Mobile Care app to purchase add-ons. Click here to download the Gen Mobile Care app.

I would like to redeem my $15 plan credit and pay the difference for a higher plan?

Yes, we can apply your $15 plan credit to a higher level plan. You pay the difference at the time you redeem your free month of service.

How much is my plan next month?

Your plan price stays the same every month unless you upgrade or downgrade your plan. Gen Mobile is a pre-paid wireless service carrier so we don't lock you into a contract. You have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime.

Can I make international calls?

For plans $10 and under, international credit can be purchased and used to make international calls. Click here to view international rates. International credit can be purchased at any time by calling Customer Care or by using the Gen Mobile Care app.

Plans $15 and up include unlimited calling to 100+ countries and $2 per month of international credit. Click here to view our unlimited 100+ countries list.
